Description
Rachel Yoder, a young Amish widow, struggles to come to terms with the tragic loss of her husband, her son, her sight. Though painfully shy, Rachel and her precocious daughter help her parents run a bed-and-breakfast in Lancaster County. Philip Bradley, a New York journalist on assignment, comes to stay at the family's B & B. When he finds an old postcard written in Pennsylvania Dutch, he enlists Rachel's help in uncovering its mysteries. Soon Philip and Rachel are drawn to one another. Will the community succeed in keeping them apart--and the postcard's secrets hidden forever?
